Experience the peaceful and spiritual atmosphere of Gangasagar Island at our ISKCON Guesthouse, located just 700 meters from the renowned Kapil Muni Temple. Our guesthouse features 16 clean Deluxe AC and Non-AC rooms with western-style toilets, nestled in cozy hut-style buildings. These accommodations are ideal for ISKCON devotees, guests, well-wishers, patron members, and pilgrims (tirtha-yatris). Please note, geysers are available in Non-AC rooms only upon request.

New room tariff is implemented for all bookings from March 1, 2025 onwards.

Gangasagar: A Land of Tapasya (Devotion through austerity) 
Gangasagar is a holy place filled with devotion and spiritual energy. Every year, on Makar Sankranti (mid-January), it hosts India’s second-largest religious gathering, second only to the Kumbha Mela.

Guidelines for Visitors: Non-vegetarian food (including onion and garlic), smoking, alcohol, tobacco, and illicit relationships are strictly prohibited. Please review our Rules and Regulations page before booking. Rooms will not be provided to solo travelers.

Each well-furnished room in the Ashram can accommodate maximum three/four guests (including children) in two/three single beds rooms (two/three on beds and one on an extra mattress on the floor with extra charges). The rooms have western-style toilets and are available in both AC and non-AC options. The AC rooms also have dedicated geysers for hot water. The Ashram provides uninterrupted power backup for lights and fans.

Prasadam (Sattvic, 100% Pure Veg, No onion or garlic) is available at our temple with prior notice.

We suggest you book at least 3 months in advance as the 31 December booking opens on 1st October. Rooms are subject to availability
